Mischa Hofmann
Mischa Hofmann co-founded Hofmann & Voges Entertainment GmbH with Philip Voges in 1996 after completing his degree in production at the HFF Munich; the company was acquired by Odeon Film AG in 2007. He served as Managing Director of Odeon Fiction until May 2025. As a producer, he has worked across a wide range of genres. As managing director, over 200 TV and film productions were created under his leadership. These ranged from crime series such as KDD – KRIMINALDAUERDIENST, to films like ERKAN & STEFAN, WO IST FRED? and JOHN RABE, to series such as TÜRKISCH FÜR ANFÄNGER, and international projects such as SPY CITY and, most recently, DIE SAAT. His productions have been honored with the German Film Award, the German Television Award, and the Bavarian Film Award.

Michael Polle
Michael Polle graduated from the HFF Munich with a degree in production. After completing his studies, he worked as a producer at Bavaria Film GmbH starting in 2005, and then in the same position at Hofmann & Voges Entertainment starting in 2007. There, among other things, he was involved in the production of the multi-award-winning series KDD – KRIMINALDAUERDIENST and produced “TATORT: NIE WIEDER FREI SEIN,” which won the Grimme Prize and the German Television Crime Drama Award. In May 2010, Polle moved to the production company X Filme Creative Pool, where he initially headed the TV department and was appointed managing director in 2021. His productions there included the Grimme Prize-nominated TATORT – DIE WAHRHEIT, WUNSCHKINDER, TATORT – UNKLARE LAGE, as well as the multi-award-winning series BABYLON BERLIN and TINA MOBIL. Internationally, he produced the series FURIA about right-wing terrorism in Europe, which premiered in the competition section of the 2021 Series Mania Festival. Most recently, he produced the highly acclaimed German-Danish series OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY, which had its world premiere in the Panorama section at this year’s Berlinale. Michael Polle is Vice Chair of the TV Section and a member of the Executive Board of the Production Alliance.
